- By density, there are dense and transparent drapes. Dense linen does not transmit light which is very suitable for the nighttime or if you want to escape from the bright sunlight. Transparent material is woven from finer threads and has a loose weave.
- By texture, the drapes can be smooth and embossed. Embossed linen is woven from pure threads of different thickness, due to which irregularities and compaction appear in it.
- By fiber composition, the cloth can be pure or with impurities. Products made from pure fibers are subject to change in shape, but mixed fabrics, such as linen with lavsan, are smooth and noncreasable.
